Will: Berkeley, Charles City County, Virginia, 1780 January 3.

In his will, Benjamin Harrison leaves his estate to his wife Elizabeth Harrison, his sons William Henry Harrison, Carter Bassett Harrison, Benjamin Harrison, his daughters Sarah Harrison, Elizabeth Rickman, Ann Coupland, Lucy Randolph, niece Ann Bassett, nephew Carter Bassett, and grandson William Randolph. Assets of his estate include the Berkeley Plantation in Charles City County and numerous slaves. This will was recorded in the Charles City County will book, 1789-1808, p. 56-59 and a codicil, not included here, was recorded 15 November 1787 on p. 463 (Charles City County microfilm reel 8).
